Elf Evans Artist As an artist, Photographer/Abstract Painter, I seem to have very different approaches to the end result of my work(s). One might observe the two being very extreme examples of creative expression. I do admit the freeform environment associated with Abstract Expressionism attracts my attention, and has since first seeing the work of artists from the “New York School in the early '60s”.For me their abandonment of conventional ideas about, “what art should be and look like” clearly was exciting and to say the least inspiring enough for me to choose to join the fray.
